Hi Family & Friends!

It is time to make Great Strides and raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation! We are going to have our "Caitlyn's Crusaders" walk on Saturday, May 19, 4pm at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lees Summit. Our church has a walking trail and a picnic area...the perfect spot for our team! This year, for a minimum donation of $25, you can pre-order one of our "Caitlyn's Crusaders" tshirts. Please send me your desired tshirt size(s) by April 25. You can send your donation to me at 12707 S. Harris Road,Greenwood, MO 64034 or donate the day of the event. For those of you that have been on our team in previous years, we are using the same grey & purple shirt.

If you can't join us on walk day but would llike to support Caitlyn and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, you can send your tax deductible donation to our above home address. Checks should be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. My email address is
dvietsnnp@gmail.com and my cell phone is 816-260-5857.

I know I don't have everyone's email addresses, so feel free to pass this info along to interested family and friends!

We are so grateful for your support. There are some very exciting things happening with CF Research, which continues to give us great hope!

God Bless,
Dawn

Cowboy's Prayer

Our gracious and heavenly Father, we pause in the midst of this festive occasion, mindful and thoughtful of the guidance that you have given us.

As cowboys and cowgirls, Lord, we don't ask for any special favors, we ask only that you let us compete in this arena, as in life’s arena.  We don't ask to never break a barrier, or to draw a round of steer that's hard to throw, or a chute fighting horse, or a bull that is impossible to ride.  We only ask that you help us to compete as honest as the horses we ride and in a manner as clean and pure as the wind that blows across this great land of ours.

So when we do make that last ride that is inevitable for us all to make, to that place up there, where the grass is green and lush and stirrup high, and the water runs cool, clear, and deep.

You'll tell us as we ride in that our entry fees have been paid.

These things we ask - Amen.
